Petts Wood F.C. was started in 1946 by Jack Standen. It was for many years a senior club. This changed in 1988 when the Junior Section was started. Since then the club has gone from strength to strength, we now have 24 teams ranging from U/7s to a Veterans team. Included in this are five girls / ladies teams, who have proved to be as good if not better than the boys!.
We are in the enviable position of having our own ground at Barnet Wood Rd, Hayes, and also running Norman Park for the senior sides, this brings in much needed money for the club by being able to let out some of these pitches to other teams. At Barnet Wood Rd we have Cafe which is run by two of our mums with help on match days when required.
The club will pay for managers, assistants and parents to attend first aid, referees and coaching courses. We are a community club, and our facilities are used by other local football clubs, cubs, church teams and a housing association.
We aim to offer good quality football to both boys and girls at all levels of ability regardless of parents income. We have the infrastructure to support new teams and offer qualified coaching at all ages.
